Deutsch Zoo
Friday, June 8th, 2007The zoo was cool. Words I already knew or learned thanks to the zoo map
Elefant = Elephant
Elch = Elk
Flamingo = Flamingo
Emu = Emu
Shetlandpony = Shetland Pony
If I could to umlauts I could spell kangaroo in Deutsch, but I can’t so I won’t
GERMAN IS EASY!!!!
I played tisch football (foosball) for the second time since I’ve been in Germany and foosball is apparently the only thing I’ve ever excelled at in my life…The muscle memory is intact…SWEET!!!!
Modest Mouse was apparently cancelled…
Everytime you think you’re walking you’re just moving around
Everytime you think you’re talking you’re just moving your mouth
Everytime you’re looking you’re just looking down
Please don’t eat the Gorillas
Wednesday, June 6th, 2007Tomorrow is a BBQ at some zoo….logic being that people won’t eat meat when we’re at a zoo….I guess we’re all vegetarians tomorrow…
I am not scared of monkeys…I am not scared of monkeys…I am not scared of monkeys….
Which reminds me of a poo story….in Bandon (by the sea) there was a petting zoo with a gorilla who liked to smoke…nevermind the morality of keeping a 500lb gorilla in a cage about half the size of my one room flat….but he would occasionally throw his poo, and on a field trip in the 4th grade he hit one of my teachers with some gorilla poo….highlight of my 4th grade year….teacher screaming and running into the gift shop cuz she had Gorilla poo in her hair….
score one for the gorilla….
Eläkeläiset
Tuesday, June 5th, 2007SO apparently people besides my mom read this from time to time…news to me (I don’t even know anyone named Corrinna nor do I know how to spell it).
apparently there is now pressure on me to be funny, clever, witty or something…
This makes me uncomfortable…
Nothing happened today…blah blah…2 coffees, 3 energy drinks, 3 carrot juices and a sandwich.
Start your blog Saffa!!!
Eläkeläiset!!!! dazzling!!!! Thanks Sanne! First thing I listened to on your CD…can anything on the CD top this???
Oh Canada
Sunday, June 3rd, 2007I have nothing to say at the moment so I give you canada from http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Canada
The world sees Canada as America’s dorky half brother, (although Canada sees the USA as a retarded cousin.) Canada and the USA share a common mother, that being England, but while America’s father was apparently Jesus, Canada’s was France. While little brother Canada may not be able to throw the ball as far as its “cool” older half-brother America, Canada can at least find itself on a map (of course, Canada finds itself by locating the USA and going north, much like Mexicans find America by locating Mexico and going north).

Mead
Saturday, June 2nd, 2007So basically everyone I know has left ffm. Matt, Benj, Vladdi, Phong and others are at some music festival somewhere…Kat is over Russia on her way to a one day trip to Korea….Arrive Saturday night….present stuff on Sunday….fly home sunday night…Wow great business trip.
everyone left would be Dad, Saffa, Phil and Sanne. So everyone in town met at the Saturday Konsti market for a beer or two. There was actually a booth selling Mead (honey wine). I haven’t had or seen honey wine since I’ve left Salem (honeywood Winery) so of course I bought a bottle. I haven’t tried it yet, but give me a day or two.
So we took some pics since Sanne and I were both wearing some fine fine hats (one of which came from the GDR – which I can only assume means the German Democratic Republic…the former East Germany). I also assume that since I’m speaking american not German that it isn’t really German Democratic Republic….only a silly yank would think that…
apparently the only good thing about america is that they take the piss out of each other regularly…Thanks to saffa for providing a stimulating analysis of the former colonies…
I was about to make a comment about how crap cricket is, but then I realized that it’s still better than baseball….poo!!!!
I’m going to Poland in July…did I already mention this??? can’t recall, but I’m excited to go to Gdansk (Danzig). Business trip/workshop….
- so old…
- Please note the old lady in the background…she must be from the GDR…
- Sanne about to open up a can of whup ass (Saffa)
- random German offerd to take our picture…I guess he thought we were foreigners….
- Ive never seen so many freckles on a 12 year old south african boy…
