got back from a glorious weekend of sailing in the IJsselmeer (Netherlands). I took almost 350 pics so I’ll make a separate page soon. It was incredible. This is the first time I’ve gone proper sailing and the weather etc were perfect!
We passed through Amsterdam and it was my first time there (except for changing planes at the airport). I was quite surprised at what a lovely city it is. I guess I’m just a sucker for cities on the sea, but the canals running through the city and the crooked building give the city quite some charm.
60% of the Netherlands is below sea level…WTF!!!!
Got my visa for Italia! Am leaving there in 2 weeks from tomorrow. Scary time!!!
