At work today a spam went out from someone who found a Glenn Miller cassette titled “the Magic of Glenn Miller”.
A cassette…really??? Glenn Miller…really??? Magic…really?
So at Das Bett I see they’ve emailed about an ‘Folkpop aus Australien’ band called ‘Heligoland’. Now I’ve never heard Heligoland, nor have I heard of them, but I still havn’t forgiven you people for Frente, so I am boycotting you ‘Heligoland’. Go back home to your meat pies, xavier rudd cover bands, and self contained lifestyles!
(I could have gone with kangaroos, boomerangs, and wronged native peoples, but I’m clever like that…)

You seem irritated at Australia. I heard an Australian in England in a radio interview say that Americans are very unpopular in Australia.
I’m very fond of australians…Every one of them I’ve met are very cool. I’d move there if I was able. I only knock them to bring them down a bit…
Certain types of americans are unpopular everywhere. It’s not because they’re american, but the american arrogance, obnoxiousness, acting like they have nothing to learn from other cultures, nations etc.
